Ashley Georgia Aber!

11.11.11 at 11:33am weighing in at 10lbs, 10oz and 22 inches long, Ashley Georgia came SCREAMING into our lives...and of course, our hearts.  Cheesy, yes, but seriously fell in love in an instant.  We had planned the c-section, but the day and time were given to us by the hospital.  The Abers drove in that morning and my mother got to NC a couple of days ahead of time.  Jason and I decided to drive Will to school that morning.  Our last little trip as a family of three.  Corny, but I got a little emotional when we left.  Our scheduled c-section was for 11am.  We got in a little late, but it went well.  Nothing too crazy...unless you consider telling the news crew that, no you don't want your baby on the news for being born on 11.11.11 crazy.  We forgot our cell phones in our hospital room, so it was a while until we informed family about her arrival.  Needless to say, a few people were a bit concerned.

Will was surprisingly excited about being a big brother.  He is very sweet with her and already the protective older brother.  When I pick him up at school, his friends rush over to see "baby" and he plows through them and says, "No!  My baby Ashish!" He is still working on making the "L" sound, so for now, she is Ashish.  Super cute, though.
