I'm how old?!?!?
Cannot believe it, but Will turned 3 last weekend. My little baby boy is growing up so fast!! He is an absolute nut and cracks us up all the time. Seriously. The other day, Ash and I were giggling in the family while Will was playing in the front room. He comes around the corner, hand on hip and says, "hey, what is going on in he-ya?" I laughed and said, "we are just playing" and he drops his hand and just says, "oh, OK mommy" and then goes back to his train table. Not sure why that cut me up, but it did.
So I was in Chicago for most of the week leading up to his party, so needless to say, I was a bit overwhelmed by party-time. I got home Thursday night. Friday morning, Mr. Aber hung out with Ash as Will and I baked his cake:
Then the two of us took off to get his hair cut and pick up my mother at the airport...then it was a blur until pretty much today.
The party!! Will had about 10 friends over. They were supposed to be outside in the kiddie pool with slide and the slip N slide, but it was unseasonably cold, so they all hung out inside. We sang happy birthday to Will and he seemed quite pleased with his cake:
Keat guided Will in the art of opening gifts and wrestling. It was cute. Will always seems so big compared to his friends at school and I am always amazed how much bigger Keat is to him. After gifts, the kids ventured outside and pretty much remained there. It was a fun time and Will said he had a great time! He has his 3 year old appointment next week, so I will be writing a post about his new stats.
