One Year Old!

Buddy turned one year old with all the fanfare as to be expected of a first born. Jason and I brought him to Angus Barn with both sets of grandparents. Yes, Angus Barn. As Jason said, "Will told me he LOVES surf and turf!" He flirted with all the waitresses and even got to little rubber duckies out of one of them. Kid's got it! He was in a great mood. We got home and he opened his gifts and didn't get into bed until an hour or so after his bedtime. He didn't get cranky at all and even when we put him down, he just rolled over and was out. Love when he goes easily like that.

We had his birthday party on Sunday afternoon. He had fun running around and the other kids seemed to have enjoyed themselves too. He opened his gifts.

Of course both he and his buddy Logan were more interested in the tissue paper that came in the packaging. Rachel made a point to say she put in extra for that purpose. Ha! Then was time for cake where Will ate his entire cupcake. I thought he would eat some, but he actually ate the whole thing, plus some watermelon. Nice. We ended the party in the pool and playing on the Slip N Slide. Ada loved drinking from the little fountains, Logan liked walking to and from the pool and Will just liked hanging out. It was a very fun time and we still cannot believe that Will is one year old. Seriously, where did the time go?
